International Missionary and Youth Day

A momentous event of the church was held at the Quirino Grandstand, January 16, 2011. The celebration of the divine calling of the church coincides with the youth gathering honoring their role as significant players for a better society. And also, it is a day of giving importance to the life-long commitment of the Goodman of the House, Apostle Arsenio Ferriol, to the cause of God, in his 75th natal day.

Hundreds of thousands of brethren mostly from NCR and delegates from Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and outside the country flooded the grandstand and the open field to be as one in the great occasion.

The march of the ministers marked the beginning of the program. It was followed by the entry of the partakers, bishops, and the Church Council. The bishops welcomed the arrival of the Apostle Arsenio Ferriol and his better half, Evangelist Leticia Ferriol. A call to worship followed.

The master of ceremony was Pastor Jonathan Ferriol. Praise & Worship was headed by Sis. Lian Salvan together with Manila Praise & Worship Team and PMCC String Ensemble. Bishop Domingo Ferriol led the opening prayer for the success of the gathering.

Pastor Leticia Ferriol gave her warm greetings for everyone who attended the occasion. She praised the Lord for the pleasant weather in spite of the previous day’s heavy rains. Songs and demonstration of praise was offered unto God by the 4,000 Voice Choir Diamond Jubilee Choir. Bishop Osinando Quillao delivered the offertory message, explaining the biblical reasons of giving.

The attendees have witnessed the video presentation portraying the wonderful works of God through the selfless leadership of His sent one, and the church’s holistic ministry reaching the million souls.

The highlight of the program was the exhortation of God’s words administered by none other than Apostle Arsenio Ferriol, introduced first by Bishop Arturo Ferriol. His message led the visitors closer to the will of God: many received the salvation paid by the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

After the altar call, greetings were given by various well-known people from the government and protestant churches.

The accomplishment of the great event is a manifestation of God’s abounding grace in continuing the saga of a committed apostolic service and ministry of His sent one and the church.
