Pasay Locale Marks 26 Glorious Years

God didn't fail to prove His prevailing love and compassion to the brethren of PMCC 4th Watch Pasay Locale as they celebrate their 26th Church Anniversary and Thanksgiving service last September 11 & 18, 2016 with the theme: “Getting Stronger, Deeper, Reaching High ‘till Christ Come”, taken from the book of Isaiah 40:31. The evidence of God's moving in His church was the undeniable growth of brethren as they unite in spirit to make event possible.

Furthermore, the first part of church anniversary and thanksgiving celebration was held last September 11, 2016 at their 4-storey building at V. Noble St., Pasay City. Ptr. Ricardo Gozo, head minister of Pasay locale led the program with the Sunday School, preparing the spirit of brethren and visitors to dedicate themselves fully to God. Ptr. Nelia Gozo, welcomed the Pasay City Vice Mayor Noel Del Rosario together with other local politicians as their special guests. Sis. Michelle Morales led the praise and worship team to warm up the crowd with their stunning shouts and praises to give glory to God.
In preparation of the brethren in the meditation of God’s words, a song of praise from MCA Pasay Chapter selected students were rendered unto God.

Blessed to have Pastor Renato Fremista, Makati locale minister-in-charge as the guest speaker, the message was delivered unto the brethren with such power that God’s inspired them to be become stronger and deeply rooted in faith as we wait for the second coming of Christ. The brethren have once again been equipped with renewed faith to continue their journey as faithful servants of God. The message touched the hearts of many visitors and urged them to respond to the call of acceptance to Christ’s redemption.

By the grace of God, the second part of church anniversary and thanksgiving celebration was held last September 18, 2016 at their newly acquired lot at Vergel St., Pasay City. Bro. Joel Repulido led the praise and worship team in edifying the name of the Lord by means of singing energizing Christian hymns. Songs of adoration to the Lord offered by the Youth Department and selected brethren from Kawan ng Taguig. In the Divine Worship, the message was delivered by Pastor Resa Pestano. With humor and vigor, she ministered the Word of Life that without being deeply rooted in the faith, we cannot be stronger and deeper ‘till Christ come.

Group picture and a lunch buffet at Tramway followed after the service to show the fellowship within the church as the celebration was concluded by a play entitled “Ani”, packed with performances coming from combined efforts of youth, adult, MCA students and church staff astounded the worship hall. Pastor Nelia Gozo led the exhortation that night.

Once again, another year proving God’s marvelous works was experienced by the brethren and visitors making them stronger and deeper ‘till Christ come.
