Certainly, God’s ceaseless mercy and tender loving care continues to engulf His Church with sufficient grace. Having the desire to spread the Gospel to places yet to be pioneered with local churches, Maranatha Bible School, the ministerial arm of the Pentecostal Missionary CHURCH of CHRIST (4th Watch) equipped its students with the needed knowledge, wisdom, and understanding through the Words of God to become approved workmen of God.
In line with this, the Missionary Journey Covenant Signing and MBS Fellowship 2016 was held at the service hall of Marikina Locale last September 7 to formally recognize the Evangelistic Crusade Team, which are made up of 4th Year Bible Students along with a few Practicum Bible Students with the task of pioneering more than a dozen local churches within their 5-month long Missionary Journey in the provinces of Bataan, Tarlac, Sorsogon, Negros Oriental, Samar, Surigao Del Sur, and Bukidnon.
Once again, the Goodman of the House, the Dean of the MBS, Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol not only encouraged and inspired the students to persevere in their tasks, but more importantly he imparted invaluable lessons about holiness and faithfulness in their ministry. He then proceeded to offer a prayer for them.
One of the highlights of the event was led by Evangelist Leticia Ferriol. She guided the signing of the Missionary Journey Covenant for the team which was followed by the picture taking by each group.
The second part of the gathering was the fellowship in which the MBS Students engaged in a very friendly and accommodating contests and games. This part's objective was met as the attendees left the place with uplifted spirits and awestruck of how God works to His Church.
On the daybreak of September 8, all the groups of the Evangelistic Crusade Team simultaneously embarked in the journey with their mission deeply embedded within their hearts and minds challenged to return with the flags of victory for the glory of God.
