After years of prayers and anticipation, the Lord granted the Western Pacific District a place to call their very own headquarters and a permanent house of Worship for the local church of Maui. What was once known as a local bank, became the newly acquired building for the Western Pacific District, receiving the keys on April 29, 2016. Situated in the very heart of Maui, equipped with a building size of over 9,000 sq. ft and a lot size of over 15,000 sq. ft, the brethren across the Pacific indeed had all the more reason to rejoice with utmost thanksgiving.
August 21, 2016 proved to be a milestone of blessings here in the Western Pacific District, as brethren across the Hawaiian Islands gathered in Wailuku, Maui. In recognition of God’s given grace, the WPD held an Inauguration Commencement of its new headquarters. Bishop Osinando Quillao and Pastor Mona Quillao, Overseer of the WPD, U.S. and Canada district, joined the brethren in this momentous occasion.
Assembling in the parking lot of the building, brethren were lead with songs of cheer and praise by the Master of Ceremony, Sister Raquel Lawrence. Pastor Rhodora Ramos, head minister of the local church of Maui, fervently lifted the service in the opening prayer. Western Pacific District Coordinator and Head Minister of Honolulu, Pastor Gallagher Concepcion, extended his heartfelt welcome remarks and acclamation. Dedicated students of the Associates in Theology and Maranatha Bible School offered a song of adoration, singing to the MBS hymn.
Bishop Osinando Quillao, boldly exhorted the words of God, fixed in the book of Nehemiah with the theme of “Celebration. Dedication. Thanksgiving. God’s work through the Goodman of the House.” Nehemiah 12:26. With emphasis on the Goodman of the House, he was also likened to Prophet Nehemiah, courageously gathering and uniting the brethren, building churches around the world.
To close in ceremony, the brethren graced the front of the building to witness the cutting of the entrance ribbon and to unveil the newly attained building. Upon entrance to the building Bishop Osinando announced the plaque of dedication to our beloved Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol, Evangelist Leticia S. Ferriol, Bishops, Ministers, Elders and brethren globally.
With gratitude, the Inauguration of the WPD Headquarters succeeded with victory! A celebration of the fulfillment of the Apostolic Partnership here in the Western Pacific District
