May 12 marks the day of rejoicing and reaping the fruits of the labor and training endured by the 'End-Time Proclaimers of the Gospel' taken from Acts 5:42. In this 38th MBS Commencement Exercises, the overjoyed and teary-eyed families and friends of the graduating class of 2016 were joined together at the Marikina City Locale Auditorium.
Marching towards their seats were the 166 blessed and delightful students who will now have greater responsibilities as ministers of the gospel.
As the program began, Sis. Christine Teaño led the congregational singing as the master of ceremony before Bishop Domingo Ferriol entrusted the service to God thru the opening prayer. Bro. Reynaldo Soriano led the singing of the MBS Hymn while Bro. Duen Labador guided the graduates in reciting the MBS Panata before Bro Julius Salido led the congregation in Scripture Reading. Sis Noime Santos gave special announcements about the upcoming church events followed by a song of praise rendered to God by selected MBS students.
Blessed to have the Goodman of the House, Apostle Arsenio Tan Ferriol share the end time message of God for the people. Continuously empowering the brethren as well as enlightening the visitors of the purpose of God in our lives.
And as the tradition goes, selected graduating students were given the opportunity and responsibility as speakers for the event. This year's carefully selected candidates were Bro Arnold Aquino as the offertory message, Sis Caroline Celis , Bro Reylie Sulayao, Bro Jesse Madriaga, Bro Mark Doctor, and Dr Uzziel Ferriol. After their messages, they were given the medals of speakership award.
Pastor Rene Fremista, MBS Officer-in-charge, presented the 166 graduates to the Apostle, who has given his recommendation before giving their diploma.
Conclusively, the graduates knelt at the stage for a prayer, further dedicating their lives and thanking God for the calling they have received before the final song was sang.
The auditorium was filled with mixed emotions as the ceremony ended with a success and a challenge to the youth in giving their lives for the ministry of saving lives.
