Nueva Ecija Brethren IntensifiedTheir Devotion In Their District Fellowship

“Let us start tomorrow!” This is the challenge posted by Bishop Resting Zonio, Northern Luzon Overseer, to the brethren of Nueva Ecija district (Bethany Area) in their District Fellowship held at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) last March 1.

With the theme, “Intensifying our devotion to Prayer and the Ministry of The Word” taken from Acts 6:4, the fellowship equipped the congregation on intensifying devotion in prayer and the word during Sunday School ministered by Bishop Resting.

In their divine worship, Pastor Rowena de Guzman, San Jose Locale Head Pastor, together with Cabanatuan Praise and Worship Team led the joyful singing. The opening prayer was led by Pastor Thess Abelgas, Cabiao Locale Head Pastor followed by the Scripture reading led by Bro. Romel Hernandez, one of the ministers in Nueva Ecija district.

Pastor Estela Franada, Nueva Ecija District Coordinator, warmly greeted the brethren and visitors. An inspiring and motivating songs of praises by Sta. Rosa, Munoz, Cabiao, San Jose and Cabanatuan locale churches were rendered to the Lord. The Offertory message delivered by Ptr. Askel Dela Cruz, the Managing Editor of The Word Magazine encouraged the brethren to be generous in giving. He also promoted The Word Magazine as one of the effective tools in evangelism.

The word of God was ministered by one of the church Bishops, Beloved Bishop Resting Zonio. In his message, expounded the importance of having intensified prayer and its role in our service to the Lord. The word of God inspired every brethren to do more for the Lord. All who attended the fellowship was spiritually blessed. (R. De Guzman)
