2015 International Missionary Day held across the country

17 simultaneous, live via satellite worships in LuzVisMin

For the first time in the history of the Church, the Pentecosal Missionary CHURCH of CHRIST (4th Watch) held simultaneous worship services across the country in celebration of this years International Missionary Day.

A brainchild of the Church Council, the core event of the International Missionary Day was held at the AATF Sports Complex in Imus, Malagasang II, Cavite instead of the usual yearly venue, Luneta Park. But the real difference this year was not the location, but the locations

More than simply just having a single venue at the AATF, the worship service was held in 16 other venues across the country. The event in Malagasang was aired to the other venues via a third-party satellite, and the result was nothing more than spectacular.

This was an unprecedented decision which gave all the brethren a better chance of being part of the annual event. This year, instead of travelling via land from the northern and southern parts of Luzon, or flying in from Visayas and Mindanao local churches, all the brethren needed to do was to drive to their designated event locations.

As a result, the timely missionary message of the Goodman of the House, Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol was heard by more believers and visitors from all over the country. The event was also streamed online, giving the brethren who were either outside the country or unable to reach the venues a chance to be part of the blessed event.

It was clearly God’s hand guiding all things and working with the decisions of the Church leaders.

Missionary Message

The Apostle delivered his timely missionary message and talked about the importance of the mission and the importance of the Office of Apostleship. Even more important, he mentioned was the Goodman of the House who was going to make the Church of Christ watch, because he knew the times and the seasons. With the Apostle as partakers of the Worship Service were his lovely wife, Evangelist Let S. Ferriol, Bishop Domingo T. Ferriol, Bishop Arturo T. Ferriol, Bishop Osinando Quillao, Bishop Resting Zonio, Bishop Aldrin Palanca, Bishop Jonathan Ferriol.

Also present during the worship event were friends and supporters from the evangelical community as well as from the government.

Still Jam-Packed

Despite having locations via satellite in Santiago City, Isabela; Urdaneta City, Pangasinan; Naga City, CamSur; San Jose, Occ Mindoro; Kalibo, Aklan; Bago City, Negros Occ; Cebu City; Davao City and via livestream in Candon City, Ilocos Sur; Lucena City, Quezon; Puerto Princesa City, Palawan; Odiongan, Romblon; Calapan, Oriental Mindoro; Tacloban City, Leyte, Cagayan de Oro City; Dipolog City among others, the AATF was still packed with 4th Watchers from the Greater Manila Area. It was truly a sight to behold and continuing proof of how God is continually bringing His sheep to the End-Time fold. But despite being full, the AATF Sports Complex remained a comfortable and safe place for the brethren to gather and they were able to worship God in the beauty of His holiness through the words of His Sent One, Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol. (A. Miciano)
