For the third time, the members of Pentecostal Missionary CHURCH of CHRIST (4th Watch) within and outside Marikina City gathered to commune with the Lord on November 30, 2014 at the PMCC Building, Marikina Locale. They readied themselves in heeding the Word of God especially to theme of the fellowship titled, the “Consecrated Church to the Great Work of God” (Joshua 3:5).
Before the worship proper, Sunday School was held with the Officer-in-Charge of Maranatha Bible School, Pastor Rene Fremista as the speaker. Then, the worship commenced as Pastor Divine Magbata led the congregational singing, followed by an opening prayer led by Pastor Rene Fremista.
Notable parts of the program were the welcome remark of the district’s Coordinator, Pastor Rey Yton as he announced the conversion of some of the district’s extensions into local churches, the enlightening message of Pastor Charlie Magbata of Blue Area about giving thanks unto God, and last but not the least, the edifying sermon of the Goodman of the House, Apostle Arsenio Ferriol. In the apostle’s message which focused on the fellowship’s theme, he explained that our whole being – body, soul and spirit – must be consecrated in order to do God’s great work. One of his last reminders that inspired the attendees especially the youth was, “Young people, rise up! Let us be consecrated.”
Great intermission numbers were also presented throughout the worship by Highest Praise Chorale accompanied by dance from Marikina Youth Department, Marikina Youth String Ensemble, and Marikina Symphony of Praise.
After the doxology, many people came in front of the stage to be prayed by the pastors and to affirm their faith to Jesus Christ as Savior. (A. Javier)
