Hundreds of attendees witnessed God’s marvelous work to the men and women who dedicated their lives to the ministry, showcasing talents on their very special night last August 24, 2014 at the PMCC Auditorium in Marikina.
The MBS Night aims to encourage church youths and AIT’s to respond to the calling of God to dedicate one’s self completely to the Lord. The event began as the hosts took the stage with live praise and worship songs, followed by an opening prayer by Pastor Lito dela Torre. Afterwards, a video testimony of selected bible students showed God’s miraculous deeds and the blessing to be a part of God’s calling. Ptr Charlie Magbata as the offertory speaker, brought the spirit of giving and thankfulness among the brethren.
A speech choir entitled “Ang Panawagan” (The Calling) was one of the highlight of the presentation. The play was an eye opener as a response for the need of workers who will reap the souls that are ready for harvest. Another video presentation showed the recent activities inside MBS. The unified voices of the bible students in their finale song concluded the event’s presentations.
The congregation was so grateful to have the Goodman of the House, Apostle Arsenio Tan Ferriol as the keynote speaker. The Apostle firmly declared in his message the significance of loving God, the importance of having genuine faith, and the relevance of possessing the right character of an approved minister of God.
Indeed, the evening service paved the way for spiritual strengthening among the brethren and the visitors. With inspiring words from the sent one of God, the bible students reaffirmed their dedication as they desire for greater works in the end-time. ( J. Mirano )
