PMCC (4th Watch) Observes Nationwide Prayer, Fasting Month in August

As disciples of Christ, it is evident that living with sacrifices and self-denial has been a part of a Christian’s way of life. To mention a few, prayer and fasting are examples of these sacrifices in which the early church practiced and exercised.  In today’s world, these kinds of services were often neglected. But by God’s abounding grace, the true church in the end-time, the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) was taught by the sent one of God to continue the manner of fasting and prayer for they believed in its significance and power.

In line with the upcoming church anniversaries of most local churches, the month of August was set for prayer and fasting. The Local Church of Marikina began its program through Prayer Fellowship, together with the launching for the search of prayer warriors. There are weekly fasting schedules assigned for every minister, bible student, AIT, elder, officer and brethren. From devotion to each service, prayer was intensified through the word of God, which led to an increase in attendance.

By the end of the month, those who actively participated and triumphed will be recognized. And greater is their reward in heaven. (A. Magnaye)
