On June 15, 2014, the AATF Sports Complex of the (PMCC 4th Watch) served as the venue of this year’s 2nd Cavite District Fellowship. The brethren from Cavite were joined by those coming from neighboring Las Piñas locale. The day’s events began with Sis. Rachelle Ferriol and the Malagasang Praise & Worship Team leading the congregation in the joyful singing.
Bishop Art Ferriol conducted the following seminar. His talk was in relation to the celebration of Philippine Independence Day. Lifted from Romans 8:21, it was entitled, “Sharing the Glorious Liberty of the End-Time Church to all Men.” He explained that it is definitely a responsibility of the Church to share this unequaled freedom to the world and not to be ashamed of it.
Spiritual blessings continued to pour in with the succeeding worship service. The congregation sang prayer songs and Pastor Eric Garcia (Silang locale) led them during the opening prayer. The audience was blessed after they watched video presentations showcasing the various ministries in the church and other mighty works of God. Invited religious officials and chaplains in Cavite then gave their welcome remarks.
Pastor Erwin Quilang (Mendez locale) presided over the reading of the Holy Scriptures, particularly chapter 8 of the book of Romans. Pastor Carlos Bandola (Cavite District Coordinator and Las Piñas Locale Pastor) then prepared the hearts of the congregation for their thanksgiving with his offertory message. In between various segments, intermission numbers were performed by the MBS Chorale led by the Final Hour Music Ministry Chairperson, Sis. Joy Ferriol Guerrero.
The worship's keynote speaker was the Goodman of the House, Apostle Arsenio Ferriol. He paid homage to Bishop Art Ferriol who celebrated his 76th birthday three days before. Apostle Arsenio Ferriol spoke of the bishop’s exceptional obedience since the early times and how he has matured into a renowned overseer of God’s flock. Apostle Arsenio Ferriol’s message emphasized the shortness of time left, described the worsening state of the world and discussed the mysteries of the Bible which were revealed by God in the End-Time. To conclude his sermon, he reminded the brethren that “God will never forget your labor of love.”
