Kids Trained to be Christ’s Witnesses on Cadets Camp 2014

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it”.(KJV)

Training a child involves more than instruction. It also includes giving practice and correction to help them learn the godly lifestyle.

Every summer, the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) gathers children to give a precise training not just in secular but to boost their spiritual aspect as well.

“Growing to be Little Witnesses of Christ”, taken from II Kings 5:2-3, was the theme of this year’s Cadets Camp occurred last April 28-30.

Choosing a suitable place for the event was the AATF complex at Malagasang, Cavite offering its elegant and fully-air conditioned auditorium.

As early as 4 AM, the kids were prepared for the morning devotion believing that prayer plays a vital role in starting the day right.

Ministers from different locale churches ministered the unadulterated messages of God that challenged every child to dedicate their lives as a little witnesses of Christ.  The Cadets campers were blessed for having the Goodman of the House, Apostle Arsenio Tan Ferriol as the speaker of the opening and closing service.

More so, workshops and different competitions like preaching contest, shower of verses and etc. were initiated considering that these activities will immensely contribute in boosting the spirituality of the children.

The song interpretation and cheer dance competition became the highlights of the event wherein they have shown their coolest moves on the dance floor.

All of the chidren who partaken in this year’s summer camp went home with a big smile bringing the blessings and strength from the seminars and activities they’ve went through. (B.Sico)
