4th Day of Senakulo Moves Spectators at MOA

After the spectacular passion play at the Quezon City Memorial Circle, the Alpha Omega Theatrical Production sponsored by Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) continued its devotion in reigniting the awareness of God’s greatest love through Jesus Christ at the SM by the Bay, Pasay City on April 17, 2014. This is the 2nd time of the production to present to the bay beside the 11th largest shopping mall in the world, SM Mall of Asia. Almost all of the establishments were closed, yet the people watched are as many as there’s no holiday like Holy Week.

The program started with a dance number from Agape Movers followed by Alpha Omega Production Children’s Choir’s song. Then, Evangelist Leticia Ferriol gave a warm greeting to all who came to watch the play. It was the opening prayer of Pastor Jim Bigalbal which signaled the start of the awaited Senakulo.

With breeze and fine weather, the play proceeded seamlessly. Even with so many amusement rides at the venue, the spectators were fixated on every scenes of the performance. The crowd was also attentive to the preaching of Bishop Osinando Quillao after the first half.

After the touching climax of the drama, Bishop Quillao once again stood on the stage to call those who are in need of salvation through Christ’s sufferings.  In his message, he quoted "Let us find the will of God not the will of man. For these is one of the commandment of God to His people."

Gladly, the multitude never failed the bishop in responding the altar call.

Just like the triumph of the whole production at the SM by the Bay, they are expecting God’s favor in their last passion play for this year on April 18 at the Marikina City Hall. (A. Javier, R. G. Garcia)
