God’s marvelous endeavors were truly witnessed and experienced because of the three and a half decades of unwavering and continuous service of the PMCC (4th Watch) Local Church of Camarin.
September 8 marked the commemoration of the Camarin Locale 36th Church Anniversary themed “Chosen To Be Fruitful” taken from John 15:16 held at Libis Gym wherein by God’s grace, hundreds of brethren and scores of visitors gathered for this annual celebration.
At 3 o’clock in the afternoon, the Divine Worship began with the parade of colors, elders, ministers, and program partakers. Sis. Amani Khalfan was the master of ceremony while Sis. Bernadette Borcelis was the praise and worship leader. The invocation was led by Pastor Vicky Alano before Bro. Clark Barcelona guided the congregation in reading the Holy Scriptures. A song number was rendered unto god by Janet Fuentes after the announcements were given by Tchr. Lorenz Javier. Back to back testimonies were made by Bro. Clark and Sis. Olive. Testimonies that inspired the congregation to further faithfully serve God. A duet from Bro. Jonathan and Vien was presented before the message of giving was delivered byy Pastor June Alano, Camarin Locale Head Pastor. A trio from Bro. Lito Manjares, Sis. Yen Cho and Sis. Charry R. followed to prepare the congregation for the message and the guest speaker was introduced by Ptr. June.
The Local Church of Camarin was blessed to have a Council of the Apostle, Bishop Osinando Quillao, as the guest speaker for the event. The congregation was enlightened by the message of the bishop, and they were further convinced that they were chosen to be fruitful in giving thanks to God. The visitors responded wholeheartedly when Bishop Osie made the altar call. Another song of praise was lifted unto God by Vien Tiballa and Emil Tipones, and the MCA Choir.
At night, a stage play entitled Hatol was presented. By the grace of God, the congregation was blessed by the production. The event successfully ended and the Local Church of Camarin was thankful for another year that God has given them. (P. Manlapig)
