Peniel Area Holds Youth Fellowship

From 21 local churches of Laguna Province, the young watchers filled the PMCC 4th Watch Local Church of San Pablo City to be a part of the official opening of the Youth Month last July 15 in cooperation to the program of National Young Watchers Department, “Courageously Declaring the Gospel” (II Timothy 1:8-9).

The program started by joyful singing led by San Pablo Praise & Worship Team followed by a prayer. Pastor Liza Caunca greeted the participants of the fellowship, while Pastor Jun Caunca of San Pablo Locale delivered the message of giving. Then, the awarding and recognition was made for the youth who showed exemplary works during Peniel Regional Fellowship and Summer Ministry, and those high school and college graduates who responded to the appeal of the Sent One of God to enter the Associate in Theology program.

The event was filled with song and praises from brethren from San Pablo, Cabuyao, Sta. Cruz, and Calamba and a Ballet Dance Worship presentation presented to the congregation.

During the important part of the program, the Word of God was delivered by the Head Pastor of Los Baños Locale, Pastor Orly Ibarbia, giving the three points for a youth to reach the realization of being one with the Apostle in Personal Evangelism. These points are: find time to evangelize, seek people to witness, and maintain the seal of the Apostle. Pastor Orly added that the strength is in the youth to do all of these.

The program ended with a prayer and dedication to the Personal Evangelism Program of the Church. The Area Coordinator of Peniel, Pastor Jun Marbida, led the closing prayer.

The Peniel youth were blessed to the messages heard as they returned to their respective local churches. To God be the glory! (A. Javier)
