An additional achievement was obtained by the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th watch) as the Macedonia Area, comprised all the locale churches of Eastern Metro Manila, held a fellowship in the first-class constituent district of Metro Manila known as the City of Taguig last July 1, 2012. For the steadfastness of each member in the church, this gathering was focused in the theme,”Complete Freedom in Christ,” taken from Galatians 5:1.
The brethren initiated the event with deep ecstasy through the aid of praise and worship that was led by the Macedonia Praise and Worship Team. As expected, the entire place was filled with deafening noises as they lift up their voices in praising and singing hymns unto the Lord. In Sunday School, the words of God were delivered by Pastor Chris Enriquez, Coordinator of Macedonia Area, who introduced the service with stirring and strengthening utterances.
The Divine Worship began with solemn hymns to gratify the name of the Lord. Then, several songs of praise presented by Taguig, Antipolo and Angono Locale Churches. The chorale groups turned out to be the highlight of the event because of their remarkable and awe-inspiring performances that simply proved that the Lord has poured numerous talents to the church. Moreover, the offertory message was ministered by Pastor Philip Cortes, the Head Pastor of Angono Locale.
The Macedonian brethren had invited Pastor Charlie Magbata, one of the Senior Pastors in Marikina City, to be the guest speaker of the event. Ptr. Charlie dealt with the event’s theme, as he explained that Christ has set us apart from wrongdoings and a believer took its freedom through evangelism that is brought by the missionaries of PMCC 4th Watch. He also added that a believer should stand firm, be steadfast and be more dedicated to their ministry.
In finale, the event has been completely astonishing for the reason that the Lord has once again discharged His blessings to the church that enabled the brethren of Macedonia Area to become more righteous and steadfast in the ministry until the day that the Lord Jesus Christ comes. To God be all the glory! (B. Sico)
